Cocking, St Catherine of Sienna
About the Bells
3 Bells, 8-1-19 in A (Approx* Tuning 5-7 of 8)
Recordings of the bells:
The bells are approximately tuned to an A major scale.
The second is slightly over a tone sharp from the tenor, and the treble is 3-quarters of a tone sharper than the second.
Roger Landen and the Wokingham Foundry appear to have succeeded in harmonically tuning their bells, aka Simpson tuning. Although, the prime and quint of both are flat by about half a semitone.
In contrast, the tenor has has a ridiculously sharp prime, one and a third tones sharp. This leaves the bell with quite an aggressive sound, and for some reason, the prime and tierce scream out after it's been struck. I have also experienced this with the tenor at Gatcombe, Isle of Wight.

How the bells are tuned in relation to their nominal, using Simpson's theory.
