4.2V Frame Layout

The 4.2V layout is classed V (Variation)  because of the gap in the corner for belfry access. The bells are arranged so that they all swing in a different direction making force distribution in the tower more or less equal. 
In the middle of the frame is a square pit known as a "Well hole" to enable the bells to be raised and lowered for rehangs.
The only example of this frame layout in Sussex is:
 Beddingham
