Battle, Cemetery ChapelBattle Cemetery Chapel contained a single bell, hung in a west-facing bellcote. The cemetery, along with its two chapels and 2.5 acres of land, was opened in April 1862 and was designed by an unknown architect. At each end is a set of triple lancet windows, along with the remains of a former 9.A bell frame.

1 Bell
Following the erection of the chapel, John Warner & Sons of Cripplegate supplied a single bell, hung for swing chiming. It bears an inscription, presumably around the inscription band, and was no doubt cast with conventional six-looped canons. In Sussex Bells and Belfries, George Elphick cites Ian V. J. Smith as stating that the bell was taken down and sold for scrap in 1961. This was presumably also the year the bell turret was removed.
There is no bell here today; all that remains are two stumps marking where the turret once stood.
