The Bell
The clock made made by Gillett & Bland of Croydon in 1873, and has two trains. The bell was provided for them as it was 4 years before Gillett's started founding bells.
The clock is painted green and appears to have been restored and cleaned recently.
It has a silvered dial with an engraving bearing the makers name, date, and serial number. Arabic numerals go round the outer rim.

It used to be hand wound, but has been converted to an electric automated winding system. The weights once fell in the NW corner of the tower.
The clock rests on a pair of parallel timbers in the centre of the tower, regulated by a 2-second pendulum.
