The Bell
Cased in the middle chamber is a the small clock by Gilletts that sadly had a broken suspension spring in January 2022, worst of all, the going train weight was fully wound!
When working, the clock is wound manually, and shows the time on 4 blue dials on each of the walls.
It strikes the hours only on a single bell using a count wheel striking system.
According to the Gillett records, the clock and bell were installed on August 31st, 1895.
