1 Bell
This bell was originally hung in the old church, and was transferred here in the 1980s. It was cast by Mears & Stainbank in 1870, bearing an inscription with the foundry name and Latin phrase.

There is no immediate access into the tower, nor obvious means of getting up there, apart from an square air vent in the middle of the ceiling.
In a cupboard known as "The Bell Room", a black ceiling boss is present, showing it was once hung for swing chime.
Since then, it has been converted to Electronic chiming by Smiths of Derby.

More info will appear when access has been gained.
